The Department Staff is highly trained and experienced. The programs are culturally sensitive and age appropriate, suited perfectly for any audience, of any size. YOUTH SERVICES
Youth services delivers programs in a group setting with a mission to change behavior by helping youth to label a behavior as risky and providing them alternatives safer behaviors. Workshops are very interactive with role plays and skill building games.
PEP It Up! is a free 12 week health education program for youth ages 13-21yrs. Topics include:
Communication and Decision making, Self esteem, Dating, HIV and safer sex
The Youth Services Programs are suitable for NYC High Schools, GED Centers, after school programs and youth service agencies.

ADULT SERVICES
Adult services delivers programs in a group setting with a mission to change behavior by educating individuals about risky behaviors and empowering them to choose alternative safer behaviors. Workshops are very interactive with role plays and skill building games.
SISTA is a free 7 week health education program for African American Women. Topics include: Ethnicity and pride, communication and assertiveness.

Parenting Journey is a free 12 week educational program for parents/caregivers who wish to improve their ability to nurture. This program is ACS Approved for those with an ACS mandate. Topics include: nurturing, goal setting, decision making and communication

Alternative to Violence is a free 12 week program for individuals on parole/probation who wish to learn strategies to lower recidivism and achieve a smooth transition into society.

The Adult Services Programs are suitable for Parent Body of NYC Schools, Adult Learning Centers, Treatment Programs and Shelters.
COMMUNITY SERVICES
Community services delivers outreach and networking programs in various settings with a mission to change behavior and build positive social connectedness. The programs are fun, interactive and social.

Positive Connections is for BATF clients to build social connectedness and stay informed about agency happenings. This program organizes monthly activities and/or outings.

Health Screening provides free HIV/STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) screening for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and, Hepatitis B and C. Screenings are confidential and methods used include urine, blood, oral and/or finger stick.
