Program and Services Expanded Syringe Access Program (ESAP) BATF is a registered ESAP provider servicing Brooklyn communities by providing access to clean needles and syringe Disposal at our office locations and on the Mobile Unit. The program targets Intravenous Drug Users (IDU’s) and work with community pharmacies that are ESAP providers or assist those who are not, to become ESAP registered pharmacies. The program provide safe kits (FITPACKS) for safe sharps disposal to individuals and pharmacy partners and distribute up to 10 clean syringes/needles to individuals 18 years or older.
